TERF students present at the Undergraduate Research Symposium

On Saturday, Oct. 29, high school students in the Tyson Environmental Research Fellowships (TERF) program who worked with the Mangan lab this summer presented posters at Washington University's fall Undergraduate Research Symposium. The Symposium this year was held in Olin Library. Congratulations to our TERF students, Melissa Gastelum, Athena Oakes, Lara Tapy, and McKenzie Ruff.

Athena's posted was titled "The effects of plant diversity on pollination visits."

Melissa presented a poster on the "Impact of soil microbes on seed viability and germination of Echinacea purpurea."
